That said, I can't find any way of scrapping the Thunderbird I have. The Manticore you start out with is kind of bleh without it standing out in any way and the Thunderbird's only real advantage being its durability its not really something I need right now as I haven't activated the Festering Skies DLC. In terms of the air vehicles, I am finding that the Helios is the most useful for sending out response teams quickly and you need at least one Tiamat to get to certain areas where there are no nearby havens to refuel. Or is it possible to activate all of 16 (dunno if I will have the resources though)Īlso bases have blocks that you can't build anything in. In this game, their range seems smaller so I am wondering if this game also has a limit to the number of bases you can have. Having played the original XCOM (the one back in the 90's not the 2012 reboot), I remember there was a limit of 8 bases but those 8 pretty much covered all the land masses on earth. Now I've pretty much been able to uncover the world and I see that there are an additional 9 bases I have not activated.
